Third Arm Terms of Use / EULA

1. Eligibility and family use

Third Arm is intended for general audiences and may be used by children and adults. If you are under the age at which you can legally agree to these terms in your region, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you and supervise your use where required by law.

Optional third-party AI tools that you connect through Pro+ may have their own age restrictions or parental consent rules. Those rules are separate from Third Arm.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Third Arm on your compatible Apple devices for your personal productivity and organization needs, subject to these terms.

3. Account and authentication

The app supports Email and Password, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign-In. Authentication is handled through Firebase. Sync is part of the app's core functionality, so once you create an account, sync is enabled by default and cannot be turned off without deleting the account.

4. Your content and sync

You retain ownership of the content you create in Third Arm. You grant us permission to host, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service.

Most synced content is stored in Firebase. Images in the Images category are stored locally on your Mac rather than in Firestore.

5. Paid plans and Apple billing

Third Arm offers Free, Pro, and Pro+ plans. Paid plans are billed by Apple as in-app subscriptions.

• Free includes the core app with lower storage limits.
• Pro adds higher limits, the Summary page, the Images category, and appearance upgrades.
• Pro+ includes everything in Pro plus optional API access for your own external AI tools through AI Connect features.

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled through your Apple account settings. Deleting your Third Arm account does not cancel your Apple subscription.

6. Optional AI Connect and third-party tools

Third Arm does not include a built-in AI assistant. If you subscribe to Pro+, you may optionally export prompts or create read-only connection tokens for external AI tools that you choose yourself.

If you use those optional Pro+ features, selected content from your account may be shared with the provider you chose, under that provider's own terms, privacy policy, and age rules. Those optional connections are user-initiated and are not part of the Free or Pro plans.

7. Restrictions

You may not use Third Arm for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with the service, access another user's data without permission, or use the service in a way that harms us or other users.

8. Intellectual property

Third Arm, excluding your content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create inside the app.

9. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account from inside the app. When you do, we will delete your account data and related stored content, subject to normal backup retention and legal requirements. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if continued access creates legal or security risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Third Arm is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed USD $100.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
