Third Arm Terms of Service

This Terms of Service explains the rules for using Third Arm. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. Third Arm is intended solely for adult users and is not directed to anyone under 18. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your personal Mac devices for productivity purposes.

3. Account and Authentication

The App offers sign-in via Google Sign-In, Apple Sign In, or email/password. This creates an account and enables core features. Authentication is handled by Firebase.

4. User-Generated Content and Sync

You create and own your content (e.g., category cards). This content is stored in Firestore.

Sync is enabled by default and cannot be turned off once you have an account, as it is required for the App's core functionality (persistence and cross-device access).

5. Subscriptions and AI Features

The App offers an optional in-app subscription (handled exclusively by Apple) that unlocks higher limits and the Gemini AI feature.

The Gemini AI feature is available only to users 18 years and older. When you use Gemini AI, selected user content or prompts you provide may be sent to Google's Gemini API for processing.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel it separately through your Apple Account settings.

6. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google) handles authentication and storage/sync. Google Gemini API powers the AI feature (subject to Google's terms). Apple handles in-app subscriptions. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms.

7. Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

The App (excluding your content) is owned by us. You retain ownership of your own content.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms.

Deleting your account permanently removes all your data. Your subscription will continue to be billed by Apple until you cancel it yourself.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed USD $100.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means acceptance.
